The World of Llowellen
Originally published in the Dragonlance Appendix, Llowellen’s walrusmen have stocky humanoid bodies, protected against the cold by tough leathery hide. Their faces are much like a walrus with wide nostrils, small, dark eyes and large tusks.
They are not well-known for their intelligence, and are often suspicious or hostile toward strangers. Most of these tribal people live on the ocean shores of the Northern Wastes, but some tribes make their homes upon drifting glaciers. They have no permanent settlements and relocate when they have exhausted an area of hunting and fishing. Walrusmen often raise polar bears as hunting animals, sometimes using them to haul massive sleds across the snow and ice.
